Prime minister met with UN Secretary-General
Prime Minister Alexander De Croo met with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres today. They discussed international developments including the war in Ukraine, the security situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, sustainable development, and climate change.

The meeting took place at Lambermont, the Prime Minister's official residence. Ministers of Climate, Environment and Sustainable Development Zakia Khattabi, Foreign Affairs Hadja Lahbib, and Development Cooperation Caroline Gennez also joined the meeting to discuss specific cases such as the COP 28 climate summit and North-South cooperation.
It is the second time that Secretary-General Guterres has visited Prime Minister De Croo. The first meeting in Brussels took place in June 2021
